SATURDAY OCT 24TH @ 6:30 PM - BROOM CRAFTING: THE HISTORY & LORE OF THE WITCHES BROOM

$135.00

Join Jocelyn Laferriere, The Belden Witch, for an evening of folklore, history, crafting & community as we create our very own decorative witches’ brooms!

This workshop has become such a beloved annual tradition that we’ve added TWO opportunities to gather this year! PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK & MAKE SURE YOU ARE BOOKING THE CORRECT DATE.

This booking is for SATURDAY October 24th @ 6:30-8:00 pm

We’ll each create a one of a kind broom using locally foraged and dried flora, natural materials, and an assortment of adornments - crafted with intention to hang upon your door or in your home to welcome in prosperity, protection & the abundance of the harvest season.

Your workshop includes everything you need to create your broom: a cinnamon broom, and a generous selection of crystals, feathers, bones, antlers, dried flowers, dried fruit, locally foraged botanicals, ribbons, and other seasonal treasures.

Have a special bauble of your own? Bring it! Beads, sea glass, shells, feathers, charms, old jewelry, ribbons, or other little treasures can make your broom even more personal.

As you craft, sip local & organic hot mulled cider brewed with our own Ayurvedic spice blend and enjoy Autumn inspired treats like pumpkin bread and organic apples. We’ll learn the history of why witches were notoriously associated with the broom. From history to folklore, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of why every witch needs one at her door.

You’ll leave with your finished broom, a full heart & more knowledge of witchy folklore & history.

Dress comfortably & come ready to create. Let’s get witch-crafty :)

PLEASE NOTE! This is an adult oriented crafting workshop and is not designed for children. Participant’s must be 18+ as some of the history & folklore is not suitable for young ears. No exceptions. For real :)
